CSA: Week 7

After spending all week out of town for work, we were excited to come home and find this awesome array from the CSA.  Wow!  We have a lot of eating to do this week.

This week’s box contains:

  • Chard
  • Flat leaf parsley
  • Scallions
  • Beets
  • 2 cucumbers
  • Red leaf lettuce
  • Green leaf lettuce
  • Green beans
  • Basil
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 zucchini
  • Kale
  • Mint

Behold, the first tomato of the season!!!
And the first picking of green beans!
And of course, more basil and zucchini.
Kale.
And green leaf lettuce.
Stayed turned this weekend and next week for some new recipes using these fresh ingredients.
