CSA: Week 23

I was in New Orleans last week when the CSA box came in.  Toby was nice enough to take pictures for me (and he did a great job, thanks Toby!)

This week’s box includes:

  • Radishes
  • Kale
  • Garlic
  • Rosemary
  • Green bell peppers
  • Carrots
  • Acorn squash
  • Turnips
  • Pea greens
  • Red leaf lettuce
  • Apples
  • Broccoli
And now for some close ups of the goods.
Radishes.
Kale.
Turnips, which will be added to some beef stew later this week.
Green bell peppers, which Toby stuffed and I devoured when I got home from NOLA.
Carrots.
Garlic.
Acorn squash.
Pea greens.
Broccoli.
Apples.
Red leaf lettuce.
It’s been a doozy  of a week.  There’s a post brewing in my head that explains it all, and how food fits into it all, but until then, my apologies for the late post to those who check in here regularly.  I plan to be back to my more regular posting schedule very soon.
